Working with a physician who is also a Compassionate Inquiry practitioner offers a unique container for your healing. Here is how we move through the process together:
A Path to Autonomy: My goal is to help you become the expert on your own healing. We work to peel back the layers of trauma and social conditioning until you can reconnect with your innate wisdom, clarity, and peace.
A Somatic Foundation: We don’t just stay in the “story” of what happened. We check in with your body in real-time. My medical background helps me understand the physiological language of your nervous system—the racing heart, the tight chest, the shallow breath—as we gently uncover the beliefs attached to those sensations.
Safety and Presence: In the ER, I learned to stay calm in the midst of chaos. I bring that same grounded presence to our sessions. No matter what emotions or memories arise, you are in a stable, non-judgmental space where your safety is the highest priority.
Inquiry, Not Diagnosis: While I am a Board-Certified Physician, our sessions are not about “fixing” a symptom or labeling a disorder. Instead, we use Compassionate Inquiry to look at the why behind the patterns. We treat your struggles not as defects, but as brilliant adaptations your younger self created to survive.
